Physical Therapist - Outpatient Neuro

Role Overview

This position involves providing comprehensive physical therapy services, including evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, discharge planning, and documentation across various settings. The therapist collaborates with healthcare professionals, adapts treatment protocols based on patient needs, and participates in program development to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations, review patient history, perform assessments, and communicate findings effectively to patients and families.
• Implement treatment plans based on evaluation results, monitor patient progress, and modify care as needed.
• Complete discharge planning and ensure accurate, timely documentation of all patient care activities.
• Manage a professional schedule, demonstrate time management, and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Pursue ongoing education, serve as a clinical instructor, and mentor new staff and students.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed in Maryland, DC, and/or Virginia as required for the location.
• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers.
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills, along with proficiency in evaluation and treatment approaches.
