Physical Therapist - Long-term Acute Care - (PT - Acute)

About the role

As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate and treat patients, educate them on rehabilitation exercises and injury prevention, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote long-term recovery and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a long-term acute care setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Provide education on rehabilitation exercises and injury prevention
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly

Requirements

• Current Florida PT license
• Completed degree in physical therapy from an accredited program
• Experience in long-term acute care preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Valid US driver’s license
• Passing score on the NCLEX-PN or NCLEX-RN
• Current CPR certification
