About the role
The PT (Physical Therapy) Clinician is responsible for planning and administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability. The PT Clinician works collaboratively with a team that includes other clinicians across disciplines, rehab nurses, and physicians to create the best possible outcome for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Plan and administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatment for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Assess patient needs and progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and visitors to ensure clear understanding of treatment goals and expectations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development activities.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement: Washington Physical Therapist License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
