Physical Therapist - Home Health Care - City of Detroit - 24 Hours/Week - Day Shift

General Summary

Under general supervision of the therapy supervisor, implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, (e.g., heat water, exercise, etc.) directed towards relieving pain and/or restoring physical functions to rehabilitative clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of one weekend per month, plus one summer holiday and one winter holiday
• Compensation & Benefits: $6,000 sign-on bonus; eligible for part-time benefits
• The ability to lift and position clients and to perform treatment modalities.
• A high level of interpersonal skill is required to effectively interface with clients and physicians.
• Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.

Qualifications

• Current State of Michigan Licensure in order to practice as a registered physical therapist.
