Physical Therapist - Home Health Care - Oakland County - 40 Hours/Week - Day Shift
General Summary
Under general supervision of the therapy supervisor, implements medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, (e.g., heat, water, exercise, etc.) directed towards relieving pain and/or restoring physical functions to rehabilitative clients.
Education
A specific level of technical knowledge and the applications of various treatment interventions in order to relieve pain and/or restore a physiological function. This level of knowledge is generally obtained through the completion of an accredited bachelor's level program in Physical Therapy.
Licenses/Certifications
- Current State of Michigan Licensure in order to practice as a registered physical therapist.
Qualifications
- The ability to lift and position clients and to perform treatment modalities.
- A high level of interpersonal skill is required to effectively interface with clients and physicians.
- Must possess a current State of Michigan driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
- Must have reliable transportation and a telephone.
