Occupational Therapist - Home Health Care - City of Detroit - 24 Hours/Week - Day Shift

About the role

The position will be in the Territory of City of Detroit. Henry Ford Home Health Care provides a range of home health services including chronic care management, joint replacement care, specialty infusion and transplant care, wound, ostomy and continence nursing, and palliative care.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment programs and organizes and conducts a variety of sensorimotor, educational, recreational, and social activities designed to help clients regain physical or mental functioning and/or adjust to their handicaps.

Requirements

• Four (4) year baccalaureate degree program accredited by the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Registration by the State of Michigan as an occupational therapist.
• Current State of Michigan driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
• One (1) year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Four (4) year baccalaureate degree program accredited by the American Medical Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.
• Licenses/Certifications: Registration by the State of Michigan as an occupational therapist.
