Physical Therapist (Full Time)
This position is eligible for a commencement bonus of $10,000.00, with 50% payable at or around the hire date and the remaining 50% payable after six (6) months of continuous employment.
About the role
The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of patients with orthopedic, neurological, complex-medical, and other diagnoses that affect a person’s strength, range of motion, endurance, and overall function. The Staff Physical Therapist will utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, and activities to achieve the highest level of function possible. This is an outpatient Physical Therapist role for the NCH system, primarily based at the Gorham outpatient clinic with a willingness to float to other facilities at least 2 days per week.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with various diagnoses affecting physical function.
- Develop and implement therapeutic exercise and activity plans.
- Utilize modalities to enhance patient outcomes.
- Work at the Gorham outpatient clinic and float to other NCH facilities as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy; Master’s degree preferred.
- Current and valid Physical Therapy practice license from the New Hampshire Office of Allied Health Professions.

Onboarding
- All new hires are required to attend a mandatory three-day orientation at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. This orientation covers essential training, compliance information, and an introduction to our organizational culture.
- If Weeks Medical Center is not your designated home base, you will be eligible for travel reimbursement in accordance with our standard travel policy.
