Physical Therapist-ESCR - Full Time

About the Role

Delivery of treatment services to children ranging in ages from 0-21 years, evaluation services, and job-related department responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for 10–12 patients per day
• Supervise student interns as directed by Manager
• Conduct initial Physical Therapy evaluations and re-evaluations
• Develop and review patient care plans in conjunction with Physiatrist
• Participate in clinical quality assurance initiatives
• Provide patient education through verbal explanation, visual demonstration, or written documentation
• Complete reporting activities as required by regulatory and departmental standards, including:
  • Daily notation of therapy
  • Progress reports with updates
  • Rehabilitation rounds/staff conferences
  • Other activities that may be assigned from time to time (e.g., splinting)
• Comply with established ESCR, Inc. policies and procedures regarding:
  • Quality assurance
  • Safety, environmental, and infection control
  • Confidentiality of patient information
  • Customer service
  • Attendance and punctuality
  • Dress code
  • Professional conduct
  • Annual health assessments
• Participate in all departmental in-services and staff development activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy with NYS License as a registered Physical Therapist
• Must maintain license in good standing
• Experience in a clinical pediatric environment

Pay

$85,000–$95,000 per year
