Physical Therapist Clinical Specialist

About the role

A licensed Physical Therapist with at least three years of experience or postgraduate training to evaluate, develop, and implement patient-specific treatment plans for movement dysfunction and pain.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient-centered therapy using standard techniques in a specialized field.
• Provide consultation and manage complex cases, educate patients and families, and coordinate discharge plans.
• Participate in process improvements, clinical record documentation, and lead educational programs for staff and students.
• Collaborate with leadership for mentorship, engage in research, quality assurance, outreach activities, and advocate for physical therapy services.
• Support departmental productivity, financial stewardship, and strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy and licensure within the practice state.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to stand constantly, lift objects, communicate effectively, and perform physical activities related to patient care.
