About the role
Join Team Tidelands and help people live better lives through better health! The Clinical Specialist/Physical Therapist will assist with the coordination, promotion, assessment, and interventions related to the scope of rehabilitation services. They will also provide a full range of discipline-specific therapy services, conduct staff and community in-services and educational conferences, and handle and deliver medications based on the requirements of their job.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the coordination, promotion, assessment, and interventions related to the scope of rehabilitation services.
- Provide a full range of discipline-specific therapy services.
- Handle and deliver medications based on the requirements of their job in the assigned work facility.
- Conduct staff and community in-services and educational conferences.
Requirements
- Doctoral Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy institution with successfully completed a specific volume of evidence-based pelvic health coursework and training.
- Must meet the required professional continuing education requirements to maintain the certification of lymphatic studies at all times during employment as a rehabilitation clinical specialist.
- Minimum of two years of experience required in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
Qualifications
- Required Experience Qualifications: Minimum of two years of experience required in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.
Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in public speaking and ability to communicate knowledge effectively.
Benefits
- Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association within 30 days or hire and recertification every two (2) years is Required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certified - American Heart Association.
Pay
The pay for this position is commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The work shift is a Day shift with an 8-hour duration.
