Physical Therapist
We are seeking a motivated Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our growing rehabilitation clinic at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, KS.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth assessments to understand patient conditions, establish baselines, and identify therapy goals.
- Collaborate with patients to design and implement personalized rehabilitation strategies to restore strength, function, and mobility.
- Facilitate physical therapy sessions using exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to enhance recovery.
- Regularly evaluate patient progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapeutic goals effectively.
- Guide exercises, home programs, and lifestyle changes that support ongoing recovery and prevent future injuries.
- Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to patient care.
Qualifications
- Bachelor/ Masters/ Doctorate/Certificate degree in Physical Therapy
- Current state Physical Therapy license
- Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current
