Overview
As a Physical Therapist with Personal Touch Home Care, you'll play a crucial role in providing direct physical therapy services based on the physician's plan of care.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and evaluating the therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status of patients.
- Participating in the development of comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Evaluating the home environment to ensure it supports the patient's rehabilitation goals.
- Assessing muscle strength, mobility, gait, range of motion, and the patient's potential for rehabilitation.
- Instructing patients/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances to support their rehabilitation journey.
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as a physical therapist within the State.
- Possesses a degree from a baccalaureate or master’s program in physical therapy approved by The American Physical Therapy Association, or The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association or The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association.
- Prefer one year of appropriate experience as a physical therapist. Home health experience is preferred.
- Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization skills.
Pay
Full-time position with an annual pay range of $110,000-$115,000.
