We are looking for a Therapist who can create a patient experience that embodies the Doctors of Physical Therapy vision: to ensure outcomes via evidence-based practice and literature-supported treatment which maximizes patient service, quality care, and clinical efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform physical therapy initial evaluations according to APTA standards.
  • Develop a comprehensive plan of care for each patient based on initial evaluation findings.
  • Understand reimbursement standards by insurance carrier and design clinically superior patient programs that allow for heightened patient success.
  • Demonstrate consistent compliance excellence by:
    • Developing short- and long-term goals for patients.
    • Implementing the plan of care.
    • Providing comprehensive therapy treatment to improve patient well-being and return to optimized functionality.
  • Consistently report patient progress to referring physicians and other professionals involved in the ongoing treatment of the patient.
  • Create and document home exercise plans for patients to improve benefits of physical therapy.
  • Plan and execute discharge of patients.
  • Maintain contemporary knowledge in physical therapy practice through educational workshops, continuing education, etc.
  • Communicate with stakeholders in a professional manner including, but not limited to, other health care professionals, insurance companies, third-party payers, and case managers.
