About the role

Physical Therapist Assistant responsible for providing treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to enhance patient well-being within the established care plan.

Key Duties

• Follow state laws and supervise PT directives, performing only qualified procedures and recommending care plan adjustments.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, and team members within scope of practice.

Qualifications & Skills

• Licensed, registered, or certified to practice physical therapy in the respective state.
• CPR certification, valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in diverse home environments and handle physical tasks like lifting and transferring.
• Willingness to work weekend rotations.

Pay

Hourly pay ranging from $23.41 to $41.83 (varies based on experience and location).
