About the role
Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver patient-centered care in a home health setting.
Key Duties
- Performing treatments, exercise instruction, and patient education under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Following treatment plans, aiding patients with exercises, gait, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training
- Monitoring and reporting patient responses and condition changes
- Educating patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members on therapy participation
- Visiting patients per the plan, documenting progress, and participating in treatment planning and team discussions
- Adhering to therapy standards and completing all assigned duties
Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification to assist in physical therapy in the relevant state
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to reliable transportation
- Preferred CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
Skills And Attributes
- Knowledge of physical therapy procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow detailed treatment plans and document accurately
Pay
Compensation ranges from $30.00 to $45.00 per hour, supplemented by a benefits package including incentives, retirement plans, and more.
