Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN | Miamisburg Rehab

The Role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care to our diverse patient population at PAM Health. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy
  • Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Assess patients' physical condition and progress, documenting findings and treatment outcomes
  • Provide therapeutic exercises and interventions to promote patient recovery and improve functional abilities
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately and timely
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of physical therapy services

Requirements

  • PAT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year of clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field
  • Successfully completed an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)

Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
