Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN | Golden Rehab

The Role

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide care to our diverse patient population at PAM Health. The ideal candidate should have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong commitment to learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy
• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assess patients' physical condition and progress, and modify treatment plans accordingly
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately and timely
• Participate in the ongoing development and improvement of physical therapy services
• Work flexibly across multiple facilities within the PAM Health System

Requirements

• PAT license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
• Current BLS certification
• One year of clinical experience preferred

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE)
