About the role
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will provide direct patient care, plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Physical Therapy within the PAM Health System. Responsibilities also include contributing to the further development of services.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care
- Plan and implement specific treatment programs for individual patients
- Work collaboratively with the Physical Therapist
- Contribute to the further development of services
Requirements
- PTA license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides
- Current BLS certification required
- One year of clinical experience preferred
Qualifications
- Flexible to meet the needs of the system within many different facilities

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Benefits
A stipend of up to $1,000 is available to help offset travel and participation costs, based on your location and distance from the hospital.
Pay
$25 - $30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
