Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality physical therapy services to patients and residents in a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation setting.
- Assist in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of orthopedic and neurological conditions.
- Participate in the development and implementation of specialized programs such as balance, wound care, and skilled maintenance.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in ongoing training and career development opportunities provided by Vital Therapy.
Requirements
- Current license in the state of Texas.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).
- Experience working in a skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation facility preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
