Physical Therapist Assistant Per Diem

About the role

Implement physical therapy programs and treatments under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to enhance patient independence and functioning. As a member of the patient care team, demonstrate a commitment to patient dignity, cultural sensitivity, and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Carry out established care plans and adjust treatments collaboratively with licensed PTs.
• Provide individualized therapy treatments and assist with evaluations and complex procedures.
• Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic records.
• Participate in team meetings, quality initiatives, and maintain a safe, professional environment.
• Foster trust and effective communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Mentor team members, participate in professional development, and ensure safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Current MA Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing/walking, patient handling, exposure to infections, and physical movements such as lifting, reaching, and bending.

Pay

Salary range of $59,122.15 to $88,683.76.
