Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Home Health About The Opportunity The PTA will serve our home health population and work closely with Physical Therapists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in patients' homes. We empower our therapists to focus on what each patient needs and allow enough time in their day to provide quality care. There are no rushed 15-minute encounters, we do not schedule at 125% production, and we encourage our therapists to spend the time necessary to ensure each patient receives the care they require. Compensation Signing bonusGenerous hourly compensationDrive-time incentiveTravel reimbursement Responsibilities Our Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for the following: Provide physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical TherapistFollow individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical TherapistAssist patients with therapeutic exercises, stretching, strengthening, balance, mobility, and functional activitiesMonitor patients' responses to treatment and communicate changes in condition or progress to the supervising Physical TherapistProvide hands-on therapeutic interventions as directed by the Physical TherapistEducate patients and caregivers on prescribed exercises, mobility techniques, safety, and appropriate use of assistive devicesAssist patients in improving strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independenceMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentation regarding treatments, patient response, goals, and progressCommunicate effectively with patients, families, Physical Therapists, physicians, and other members of the healthcare teamRecognize changes in a patient's condition and promptly report concerns to the supervising Physical TherapistProvide compassionate, respectful, and patient-centered care in the home environmentManage an efficient daily schedule while traveling between patient homesFollow all applicable professional, organizational, and home health policies and procedures What We Offer We are committed to creating an environment where our therapists can provide meaningful care without unnecessary productivity pressure.
