About the Role

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides treatment, exercise instruction, and patient education to improve patient well-being, following a plan of care under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state laws and the supervising PT's treatment plan, performing only qualified procedures.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observe, document, and report patient responses and condition changes, coordinating with healthcare team members.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers within scope of practice.

Requirements

• Current licensure or certification to practice in Washington.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and mobility assistance.
• Ability to work effectively in diverse home environments.
