Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time

Position Overview: As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will deliver skilled education, treatment, and interventions under the direction of a physical therapist and physician’s plan of care. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, providing updates to optimize patient well-being. Key Responsibilities Provide direct physical therapy, treatments, and procedures aligned with the patient's care plan.Communicate regularly with patients and caregivers about the plan of care.Report patient observations and condition changes to supervisors or physicians.Relieve pain, restore or develop function, and promote maximum performance.Educate patients and caregivers on safe use of prosthetic, orthotic, and assistive devices.Guide patients in rehabilitation, adaptation, and carry-over techniques.Collaborate with other disciplines on patient care plans.Plan and communicate discharge instructions and plans.Participate in in-service programs and maintain professional standards.Ensure confidentiality, document progress, and record clinical notes timely.Maintain attendance, submit credentials promptly, and perform all duties professionally. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current, unrestricted state license as a PTA.Valid CPR certification.
