Job Summary
Aids patients/residents/clients in therapy activities and exercises as per a treatment plan, supervised by a physical therapist. Implements and modifies therapeutic activities based on patient's/resident's/client's goals and the setting's requirements. Documents patient's/resident's/client's responses and communicates with the physical therapist.
Qualifications
- Appropriate education level for state licensure
- Graduated from an APTA-approved Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the relevant state(s)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within six months of employment
- Valid driver's license when applicable
