Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in implementing treatment plans as directed by a licensed physical therapist.
• Lead patients through prescribed exercises and activities to improve their physical function and recovery.
• Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques and provide feedback to ensure safe participation.
• Maintain the proper application of treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, body mechanics, pain management, and discomfort techniques.
• Monitor patients' responses to treatment interventions and document their progress.
• Communicate regularly with the supervising physical therapist, updating on patient progress and collaborating on adjustments to the treatment plan as needed.

Requirements

• Completed an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current license/certification in the state of practice.
