Physical Security Specialist (Swing)

About the role

Safeguarding organizational security is at the core of this role. The Security Specialist supports and administers organizational security plans and operations, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical protection measures for personnel and company property, including day-to-day damage, vandalism, and loss prevention.
• Executes procedures and processes to mitigate security risks and compile data for loss control and accident reports.
• Supports and conducts internal investigations in line with legal requirements and company policies.
• Collaborates with local police and emergency agencies as needed.
• Maintains records, manuals, and documentation related to security operations.
• For companies with government contracts, coordinates and administers security clearances and other security policies and procedures in accordance with Department of Defense or relevant agencies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years of experience in a similar role. Knowledge of security protocols, incident response, and regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

A background check and security clearance may be required for this position, depending on the client's needs.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with security software tools is beneficial.
