Physical Security Specialist

About the role

Safeguarding organizational security is at the core of this role. The Security Specialist supports and administers organizational security plans and operations, ensuring compliance with codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical protection measures for personnel and company property, including day-to-day damage prevention and loss control.
• Executes procedures and processes to prevent vandalism and theft, and conducts internal investigations as required.
• Maintains records, manuals, and documentation related to security protocols and incident reports.
• Coordinates with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
• Supports companies with government contracts by administering security clearances and adhering to Department of Defense or relevant agency guidelines.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a security-related role.
• Knowledge of security protocols, incident response, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

This position requires:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to perform security-related tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
