Physical Security Shift Supervisor - Onsite

About the role

We are seeking a Physical Security Shift Supervisor to join the dynamic team at our Edgewood, NY facility. In this on-site role, you will monitor the Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) system, access control system, security records, key control, ID/access badge issuance, physical site security, equipment dispatch accountability, electronic inventory accountability, and safety inspections. As the first line supervisory contact for Associates, vendors, and contract security officers, you will oversee the execution of duties by security staff during your shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access into any Broadridge facility or sensitive/critical area within the facility.
• Ensure the safety of assigned Associates and guests and secure assigned sites via physical or electronic tours.
• Administer the Security Console Room (central monitoring station), including the CCTV system, access control system (ACS), and BMS/HVAC systems.
• Ensure sites comply with relevant audits, client audits, policies & procedures, and contractual obligations.
• Investigate incidents, notify proper organizational representatives, and report procedural breaches in security policies.
• Maintain all security documentation and act as a training officer for assigned staff (including proprietary and contract staff).
• Assume duties of the Security Site Manager when required and complete additional directives from the Corporate Security Management Team.
• Supervise staff performance, provide guidance, and ensure adherence to established procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Conduct performance evaluations for assigned staff.
• Perform periodic inspections of assigned facilities and personnel to ensure compliance with Safety and Security policies.
• Draft policies and procedures for upper management review and implementation.
• Handle all associate administration, such as counseling and scheduling.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required; minimum of three years of experience in the security field preferred (Military and/or Law Enforcement experience or hiring manager recommendation may substitute).
• Ability to work Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, and Thursday and Friday 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM. Shift is subject to change based on coverage and department needs; flexibility is required.
• Clear and professional verbal communication skills.
• Effective, clear, and concise writing ability.
• Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy.
• Intermediate-level proficiency with personal computers, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, and MS TEAMS.
• CPR qualification preferred.
• Ability to travel and perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Pay

Salary range: $57,000 - $67,000 annual. Bonus eligible. Final salary considers relevant experience, skills, and education.
