Physical Security Shift Supervisor (Evening Shift) - Onsite

About the role

Broadridge is seeking a Physical Security Shift Supervisor for its South Windsor, CT location. The role involves maintaining and servicing work facilities, overseeing office management activities (space, furniture, central supply, mail, print services, maintenance, records, document production, cafeteria, etc.), and ensuring safety and security compliance. This is a fully onsite position.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff in performance of work and provides guidance in the resolution of problems.
• Assigns work to meet completion dates in accordance with schedules fixed by higher supervision and subject to higher approval.
• Applies and assures employees adhere to established organization procedures, rules and regulations.
• Conducts performance evaluations for assigned staff.
• Ensures guard inspections and reliefs are conducted in accordance with the service contract.
• Makes periodic inspections of assigned facilities and personnel to ensure compliance with current Safety and Security policies and procedures.
• Investigates any complaints from associates or staff.
• Drafts policies and procedures for upper‑management review and implementation.
• Responsible for all activities of the shift.
• Handles associate administration, such as counseling and scheduling.
• Runs any shift without supervisory presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School graduate; college degree preferred.
• Internal candidates: 2 years’ experience at a Broadridge location preferred.
• External candidates: six years’ experience at Broadridge locations preferred.
• Military and/or Law Enforcement experience or a hiring‑manager recommendation may substitute for the above experience.
• Computer literate with typing proficiency; proficient with Microsoft Office (or equivalent) – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Teams, Adobe Acrobat.
• Familiarity with security systems: access‑control (S2 ACS a plus) and CCTV (S2 NetVRs, Axis cameras a plus).
• Clear, professional verbal communication.
• Effective, clear, concise written communication.
• Understanding of budgetary processes.
• Ability to work the 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM ET shift, Monday – Friday, with flexibility for schedule changes.
• Willingness to travel and perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $64,000 annual base, with a shift differential and eligibility for an annual bonus. Final compensation is evaluated based on relevant experience, skills, and education.

Schedule

Shift hours are 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM ET, Monday through Friday. The shift may be adjusted based on coverage and department needs, and flexibility is required.
