Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted resource across multiple sites and departments
• Lead by example in complex collections, patient interactions, and workflow efficiency
• Mentor and support phlebotomy team members
• Ensure top-tier patient experience and accurate specimen collection
• Stay sharp with diverse, hands-on opportunities every day

Requirements

• At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience
• Certification (ASCP, AMT, NHA, or ASPT)
• Flexibility, confidence, and a positive team spirit
• Commitment to excellence in every patient interaction
• High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
• Knowledge of current medical terminology to perform a full range of laboratory tasks
• Ability to anticipate and react calmly to emergency situations
• Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, hospital staff, and the public
• Ability to work independently and follow written protocols
• Clear communication skills

New hires must obtain phlebotomy certification within 6 months of hire; failure to do so will result in termination of employment.
