Shift: PRN | Nights & Weekends | Hours may vary

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of Phlebotomy experience, required.
  • Advanced phlebotomy skills with strong experience.
  • Certification (ASCP, AMT, NHA or ASPT - required).

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a trusted resource across multiple sites and departments.
  • Lead by example in complex collections, patient interactions, and workflow efficiency.
  • Mentor and support phlebotomy team members.
  • Ensure top-tier patient experience and accurate specimen collection.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • One year of relevant phlebotomy experience, preferred.
  • Completion of an accredited phlebotomy program, preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

  • Phlebotomy Certification - ASCP, NHA, ASPT, AMT or a national accrediting agency approved by Laboratory Senior Leadership (required).
  • Phlebotomy Certification - ASCP, NHA, ASPT, AMT or a national accrediting agency approved by Laboratory Senior Leadership (Phlebotomy/Medical Laboratory Assistant certification must be obtained within 12 months of hire. Failure to do so will result in termination of employment.)

Additional Skills Required

  • Knowledge of current medical terminology to perform full range of laboratory tasks.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology to communicate with medical staff regarding laboratory procedures and results.
  • Skill in anticipating and reacting calmly to emergency situations.
  • Skill in developing and maintaining department quality assurance.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, hospital staff and the public.
  • Ability to follow written protocols.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
