Phlebotomy Technician

Contract position based in Clinton, NY. Anticipated close date: August 12, 2026.

About the role

Perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary. Update patient information accurately. Demonstrate techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required. Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures. Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience working with pediatrics and geriatrics in a hospital, clinic, or lab (mandatory)
• Phlebotomy certification (preferred)

Pay

$25.00 - $25.00/hr.
