Phlebotomist Team Lead - Must Have a CDL - Will Train in Phlebotomy

About the role

Our Charge Phlebotomist-CDL Drivers oversee blood collection operations, ensure collections run smoothly, and provide donor care. Charges carry out all functions of the donation process including donor registration, screening, physical, and phlebotomy. Charges may be expected to drive our fleet vehicles (box trucks, truck and trailer combos, and buses) when needed.

• Oversee staff for assigned blood drive or collection center
• Perform donor registration, screening, physical, and phlebotomy
• Drive fleet vehicles as needed

Schedule

Full-time position working 30–39 hours per week with varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.

Requirements

• Customer service experience
• Previous lead, supervisory, or management experience
• Strong leadership skills
• Enjoy working with the public
• Good, stable work history
• Understand the importance of following standard operating procedures
• Healthcare experience is a plus
• Ability to train away from home for up to two weeks at a time
• Ability to work varied schedule including days, evenings, and weekends
• Comfortable driving in various weather conditions
• Possess a valid CDL B driver’s license (or above) with airbrake endorsements and be insurable by our insurance carrier
• Possess a valid driver's license in the state of residence and be insurable by our insurance carrier
