Phlebotomist (part time - full time)

Job Summary

We are seeking part time/full time Phlebotomists who can work flexible hours, including on-call shifts, to support our independent reference lab. Our team is integral to our patients' experiences and plays a crucial role in ensuring patient safety and sample quality.

About the Role

As a key member of our laboratory team, you will interact closely with patients and clients, impacting their perceptions of the lab. You will be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism, and ensuring the safety and integrity of the samples.

Responsibilities

• Work with elderly patients and those who are difficult to draw blood from.
• Show a positive attitude and maintain a professional demeanor.
• Ensure consistent and accurate performance in all tasks.
• Use computer systems and data processing effectively.
• Have completed phlebotomy training, obtained a Florida license, and have relevant experience.
• Preferred but not required: bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Display excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and continue professional development.

Requirements

• 3 years of current and continuous phlebotomy experience.
• Proven record of consistent and accurate performance.
• Basic computer skills or coursework in computer and data processing.
• Completed phlebotomy training and obtained a Florida license.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Able to work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
• Experience working with elderly patients and those who are difficult to draw blood from.

Schedule

Shifts are available from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with occasional on-call shifts managed by the manager.
