Phlebotomist (Part-Time)

Job Overview

Pharmaron is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to work part-time (20+ hours) in our Clinical Research Unit in Baltimore, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepares, verifies, and completes sample requisitions under ClinSpark, LabDAQ, or paper.
• Organizes study specific documentation and labels and prepares for daily assignments.
• Collect laboratory specimen which may include blood, urine, saliva, and stool, etc. per protocol and established procedures.
• Understands the appropriate patient identification, collection system, order of draw, and appropriate specimen required for specified tests. Properly explains process and performs venipuncture and other specimen collection as required using multiple collection methods.
• Labeling and Processing specimens, transport specimens, centrifuge, aliquot, and prepare for shipment when necessary.
• Perform non-patient facing duties including stocking, inventory, and study specific documentation.
• Maintain all appropriate logs (temp and maintenance) along with observe and follow all safety regulations.

What We're Looking For

• 2-4 years of experience in Phlebotomy in clinical setting
• High School graduate or equivalent, plus completion of Phlebotomy Training
• Certification in Phlebotomy from recognized organization (MLT certification also acceptable).
