Phlebotomist (part-time)

About the role
As a Phlebotomist, you will perform blood collections, specimen processing, and provide exceptional customer service in a Patient Service Center or Client office. You will be the face of the company and may travel to additional sites as needed. This role offers opportunities for continuous growth within the organization and may include eligibility for a quarterly performance-based bonus.
Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic needs
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
- Process billing information and collect payments as necessary
- Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs
- Provide superior customer service to all patients
- Handle administrative and clerical duties as required
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Phlebotomy certification (National)
- CPR certified
- In lieu of work experience, certification or training must come from an accredited agency
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year or more of phlebotomy experience
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible for the 401(k) Plan only. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
