Phlebotomist (Part Time)

About the Role

We are immediately hiring for a Phlebotomist to perform blood draws, label specimens, and centrifuge them as necessary. The role involves updating patient information accurately, demonstrating techniques using straight needles and butterfly needles, and packaging specimens for transport. The position is based in Vernon, VT, and is a fully onsite, contract role.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles.
• Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required.
• Package specimens for transport and store them at required temperatures.
• Update patient information accurately.
• Answer telephone inquiries and read laboratory results.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working with Pediatrics & Geriatrics in a Hospital, Clinic, or Lab setting is mandatory.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00/hr.
