Phlebotomist - Full Time- Nights

About the Role

Martin County Hospital District (MCHD), a Critical Access Hospital located in the heart of West Texas, is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team. Established in 1967, MCHD has a rich history of serving Martin County and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care in a rural setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures and finger sticks
• Process medical laboratory samples for analysis by clinical laboratory scientists
• Follow all CLIA and COLA requirements and regulations
li>Guide patients through the laboratory sample donation process, ensuring their comfort, safety, and adherence to pretest requirements

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• BLS certification required
• Phlebotomy certificate recommended but not required
• No experience required, but 1 year preferred

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of laboratory procedures and regulations is essential.
