About the role

The Patient Services Representative III-Floater (PSR III) supports a healthcare facility in Lincoln NE 68510. This position involves drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients, explaining procedures and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Create an atmosphere of trust and confidence with patients.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor.
• Verify patient demographic information and initials, including patient signatures post-venipuncture.
• Ensure required records and documentation are maintained.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and focus on process excellence.
• Communicate openly and transparently with peers, supervisors, and patients.
• Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Have excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric.
• Be flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
• Make decisions based on established procedures and exercise good judgment.
• Have reliable transportation, a valid driver license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Have Superior Customer Focus.

Requirements

• Three years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Pay

$27/hr to $28/hr, based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.

Schedule

Days / CST 6:30am - 8:00pm availability, 8-10 hours shifts (M-F).
