Philanthropy Revenue Quality Assurance Specialist
About the role
The Philanthropy Revenue Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist will work as part of the Philanthropy Revenue Management & Operations Team within Philanthropy Effectiveness in Global Development. The role involves reviewing and committing constituent revenue transactions, identifying bottlenecks, redundancies, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for enhanced efficiency or effectiveness, and providing recommendations for process and procedure improvement.
Responsibilities
- Review and commit constituent revenue transactions entered into BB CRM
- Support the identification of bottlenecks, redundancies, vulnerabilities, and opportunities for enhanced efficiency or effectiveness
- Provide recommendations for process and procedure improvement
- Work towards meeting strategic priorities by utilizing advanced knowledge of fundraising and finance technical systems, tools, and resources
- Collaborate with various teams across TNC such as Finance, Development, Audit, Legal, and Business Units to ensure business processes and procedures facilitate compliance with donor stewardship and FASB/GAAP standards
- Manage the batch commit and exception process, assist with technical/system support, and coordinate timely and accurate support by other team members for corrections to revenue transactions
- Coordinate with Finance partners to resolve coding and donor intent issues, identify exception trends to recommend process improvements, and field retraining/skill remediation
- Enforce, implement, and adapt processes and recommended procedures to improve effectiveness per consultation with business process owners
- Review and approve the details of all revenue transactions entered into The Nature Conservancy’s constituent database of record generated by Conservancy fundraising/operating programs to ensure accuracy and compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination
- Experience generating reports and analyzing and interpreting data
- Experience working across departments
- Experience with current technology in not-for-profit revenue management
- Experience, coursework, or other training in principles and practices of not-for-profit revenue management
Qualifications
- Substantial contact with stakeholders, e.g., development, audit, and legal
- May serve as the lead liaison with other partners
- Keep up-to-date on organizational developments and best practices in order to improve services
- Enforce, implement, and adapt processes and recommended procedures to improve effectiveness per consultation with business process owners

Benefits
Salary Information: The starting pay range for this position is generally within the range of $68,100 – $100,500 for annual base salary and is based on location, qualifications, specific skills, and experience. This range only applies to candidates whose country of employment is the USA. For all other applicants, pay ranges will be in local currency, the pay range will be based on the local labor market, and not tied to the above pay range. Your geographic location will be confirmed during the recruitment and used to determine your actual pay range. Additionally, for all applicants, actual pay will fall within a range based on a variety of factors including, for example, the candidate’s qualifications, specific skills, and experience.
