Role Overview

The Philanthropy Lead, Major Gifts is a senior role within the Foundation, responsible for leading a team of four staff members who aim to raise up to $10 million annually. This role plays a pivotal leadership role in a historic and transformative campaign, shaping and advancing major gifts strategy at a critical moment of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and management of a team of four staff members, each with goals of up to $10 million.
• Manage the team's pipeline of major gift prospects.
• Play a key role in fundraising for the Foundation's most ambitious campaign in history.
• Partner with senior leaders, physicians, and volunteers to secure significant gifts.
• Combine big-picture strategic thinking with hands-on leadership of a high-performing team.
• Work at the intersection of campaign fundraising, clinical priorities, and organizational strategy.

Qualifications

• An experienced major gifts professional with a preference for health care philanthropy experience or similar complex organizations.
