Pharmacy Technician Trainee/Pharmacy Technician / SFT II/ SFT III

Responsibilities

• Trains to assist the pharmacist in tasks associated with patient care.
• Learns to effectively manage supplies of the department.
• May enter prescriptions, complete reports, operate and maintain automated dispensing devices, input computer data, and provide customer service.
• Completes essential functions of the job under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Licenses Required: Current Pharmacy Technician Training license with the State of Utah.
• Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Working Conditions and Physical Demands: Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation. Light work that may exert up to 20 pounds, standing for extended periods, and not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
• Physical Requirements: Carrying, color determination, far vision, lifting, listening, near vision, pulling and/or pushing, reaching, sitting, speaking, standing, stooping and crouching, walking.
