Pharmacy Technician Trainee/Pharmacy Tech/SFT II

Responsibilities

• Trains to assist the pharmacist in tasks associated with patient care.
• Learns to effectively manage supplies of the department.
• May enter prescriptions, complete reports, operate and maintain automated dispensing devices, input computer data, and provide customer service.
• Completes essential functions of the job under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Licenses Required: Current Pharmacy Technician Training license with the State of Utah.
• Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Working Conditions and Physical Demands: Light work that may exert up to 20 pounds, standing for extended periods, and not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
• Physical Requirements: Color determination, far vision, lifting up to 20 pounds, listening, near vision, pulling and/or pushing, reaching, sitting, speaking, standing, stooping, and crouching, walking.
