Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacy Technician Program Trainee
Responsibilities
- Accurately rings out patients, ensuring counseling called for when appropriate.
- Consistently maintains patient data base.
- Performs scheduled maintenance.
- Accurately performs sign-up administration for manufacturer supplied Indigent medications.
- Performs prescription inputting, billing, and rebilling process.
- Efficiently maintains medication stock.
- Accurately maintains register and cash box cash amounts.
- Briefs any out-of-ordinary issues to pharmacists or pharmacy managers as appropriate.
Requirements
- Must have a Washington State Pharmacy Technician License OR must be able to obtain a Washington State Pharmacy Assistant license, apply, and be approved for our in-house pharmacy technician training program.
- The duration of on-the-job training is approximately 1 year.
- Verbally bi-lingual in English, Spanish, and/or Russian is required.
- Travel between sites is required as necessary.
- Must be able to provide proof of valid driver's license and auto insurance as required.
- A high school diploma and/or GED is required.
