Pharmacy Technician Trainee

Responsibilities

• Performs prescription fulfillment and accuracy
• Prepares medications including emulsions, liquids, powders, and ointments
• Performs sterile compounding and IV prescription preparation
• Cleans and maintains sterile compounding rooms
• Participates in periodic pharmacy inventory
• Processes returned medications for credit or destruction
• Orders entry for new and refill prescriptions
• Fills documentation as required by pharmacy regulations
• Responds to inquiries from patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals
• Collaborates with facility staff for timely medication delivery
• Performs other assigned tasks to support pharmacy operations and patient care

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate a computer
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work independently and collaborate with a team accurately and efficiently

Pay

Salary Range: USD $17.00 - $18.00 / Hour

Schedule

Monday- Friday 9a-530p Sunday 8a-12p (approximately every 6 weeks)
