As a Pharmacy Technician Trainee, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. Your role involves building strong relationships with patients, ensuring safe and accurate medication handling, and supporting efficient pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with compassion and professionalism at all entry points.
• Deliver excellent patient service by processing orders, directing inquiries, and referring questions to the pharmacist.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Assist team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
• Use pharmacy computer systems to manage prescriptions, verify inventory, and support workflow.
• Contribute to performance improvements by applying knowledge of service metrics.
• Participate in company initiatives and complete required training and exams.
• Adhere to all policies, laws, and regulations, including HIPAA and pseudoephedrine laws.
• Handle sales transactions accurately and transcribe prescription data for labeling.
• Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and rotating stock appropriately.
• Respond to customer inquiries professionally and resolve concerns effectively.
• File prescriptions and support inventory management tasks.

Qualifications and Skills

• 0 to 6 months of experience; high school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to obtain pharmacy technician registration with state board.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and be at least 18 years old.
