Pharmacy Technician / Mid-Shift

Join PharMerica’s closed-door, non-retail pharmacy team in Vancouver, WA, where you’ll make a meaningful impact supporting long-term care and senior living communities. This full-time Pharmacy Technician role serves as a key point of customer service for incoming calls, supporting healthcare facilities, nurses, and internal teams. Responsibilities

• Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct basic drug calculations, including dosage and conversion tasks.
• Investigate and resolve pharmacy claim denials; perform follow-up actions in POS systems.
• Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure compliance in processing.
• Track unpaid or delayed claims; generate reports for management.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with company values and policies.
• Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under Pharmacist supervision.
• Support additional pharmacy tasks and operations as directed by management.

Requirements

• Washington Pharmacy Technician License (REQUIRED).
• PTCB Certification (new hires have 6 months to obtain it; coaching and development provided).
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a pharmacy setting and familiarity with medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer and identify medications.
• Detail-oriented, goal-driven, team player with effective oral communication skills.

Desired: Long-term care pharmacy experience.

• Wednesday – Saturday: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• Sunday – Wednesday: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM
• Sunday – Thursday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Tuesday – Saturday: 10:00 AM – 9:00 PM
• Tuesday – Saturday: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Training Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM.

Pay

USD $21.00 – $23.00 per hour.
