About the role

PharMerica is hiring full-time Order Entry Pharmacy Technicians in Phoenix, AZ. Join a team that supports long-term care and senior living communities, making a meaningful impact on patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and process medication orders
  • Conduct basic drug calculations and resolve pharmacy claim denials
  • Stay current with Medicaid claim regulations and ensure compliance
  • Track unpaid or delayed claims and generate reports
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under Pharmacist supervision
  • Support additional pharmacy tasks and operations as directed

Requirements

  • AZ Pharmacy Technician/Trainee License – REQUIRED
  • PTCB Certification
  • New hires have 6 months to obtain their PTCB certification, and we'll provide coaching and development
  • Work Location: 8826 N 23rd Ave, Suite C-3, Phoenix, AZ 85021
  • Schedules: Monday - Friday 10:30am - 7:00pm with alternating weekends

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Pharmacy Technician license as required by state
  • Experience in a pharmacy setting and medical terminology
  • Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications
  • Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication
  • Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred
