Pharmacy Technician II - FT - Nights - Up to $5K Sign on Bonus - JDCH

About the role

The registered and certified pharmacy technician II works under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists to provide distributive pharmacy services and support to the pharmacy department. This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5K, contingent upon the applicant's qualifications and subject to certain eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform all activities per pharmacy technician scope of practice
• Affords assistance in procurement of medications and supplies through various ordering platforms
• Performs sterile compounding, including limited hazardous medications in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Competent and skilled to perform all duties of Technician I
• Affords assistance in process improvement and continuous quality and safety monitoring initiatives

Qualifications

• Education and Certification Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (ACPHT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician Exam (EXCPT) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
  • Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL)
