Pharmacy Technician III - Evenings - Up to $5K Sign on Bonus - MHP

About the role

The registered and certified pharmacy technician III works under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists to provide distributive pharmacy services and support to the pharmacy department. This position may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $5K, contingent upon the applicant's qualifications and subject to certain eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assists with development, organization, and implementation of process improvement, continuous quality and safety initiatives and outcomes.
• Trains, leads and serves as a resource to other technicians to help manage daily operational workflow.
• Competent and skilled to perform all duties of Technician I and Technician II.
• Demonstrates proficiency in one or more specialty areas as required to meet the demands of the department (e.g. neonates, oncology, purchasing, automation, auditing, reimbursement, total parenteral nutrition, inventory management).
• Independently executes and completes pharmacy projects or reports under the direction of pharmacy leadership.

Requirements

• Two (2) years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Advanced computer skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (ACPHT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPHT) - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB)
• Certified Pharmacy Technician Exam (EXCPT) - National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
• Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPT) License - State of Florida (FL)
